In appreciation of South Florida’s Latin immigrants, Storycrafter Studio plans a Spanish language production of the comedy The Wish Maker. Please help Guillermo Ramon translate this play. Contact him at email@example.com or contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you so much!
From now through the month of March playwrights are invited to Storycrafter Studio to come and read scenes from your plays for feedback from your fellow theater people. One idea we had last week was to do a playreading once a month. Let’s get that planned. Playwrights, you have the plays, we have the space, so come and tell me, Cynthia, of your dreams.
Monday, February 6th at 8pm, please come for coffee (or tea) to Storycrafter Studio, 12987 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami to discuss play readings and productions of your plays. Come talk about what kinds of plays you want to write and what you are working on now. Cynthia has the space; you’ve got plays. Let’s put them together.

Unfortunately the Storycrafter Studio must cancel its Halloween show which was to be a set of one-acts including “The Romance of Belisa & Don Perloba in the Moonlit Garden.” Artistic Director Cynthia Clay must move her 91 year old mother from Raleigh NC to Miami, so between that move and the winter holiday musical, Beware the Jabberwock something had to give. Beware the Jabberwock is going to be a new winter holiday classic. Don’t miss it! Beware the Jabberwock‘s music is medieval carols with revised lyrics to tell a story. The music is arranged by award winning composer Pamela Marshall.
